A Brief History of Egg Press Co.

Egg Press Co. was started by me, Peter Moller, in 1976 after experiencing the shock of, and then escaping the reality of the Alberta College of Art. The Egg begin life by supplying el-cheapo posters and other printed materials (see the Poster Gallery) for various art, dance and music groups in the burgeoning Calgary arts scene of the late 70s and early 80's. For some inexplicable reason, it survives to this day.

In 1998 Egg Press went from being a full-fledged analog print company to a full-fledged digital design firm when I sold the presses and bought into the digital revolution. Since then, I've steered the Egg toward theatre sound design (see Concrete Discs) while maintaining the graphic design aspect.

Today Egg Press Co. functions out of a number of computers both mobile and stationary... and that's life in this digital realm.
